What are nano brows?
Nano brows are a form of permanent makeup that uses a machine and micro-needle cartridges to create ultra-fine, hair-like strokes. The result is natural, soft, and ideal for sparse or patchy brows.
What is the difference between nano brows and microblading?
Microblading uses a manual blade to make tiny cuts, while nano brows use a gentler machine method. Nano is suitable for more skin types (including oily), heals faster, and typically lasts longer.
How long do nano brows last?
Approximately 1–3 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Annual touch-ups are recommended.
Do nano brows hurt?
On average, most of our clients tell us that they don't really feel anything! More sensitive clients describe it as mild discomfort (about a 3 on a 1-10 scale, with 10 being the worst pain). We apply topical numbing is applied before and during the procedure.
Who is a good candidate for nano brows?
Clients who want natural, hair-stroke brows — especially those with sparse areas, oily skin, or asymmetry.
Who is not a candidate?
Contraindications may include pregnancy, breastfeeding, active chemotherapy, bleeding disorders, or certain autoimmune conditions. Consultation required.
What is the healing process like?
Initial healing typically takes 5-10 days and greatly depends on each individual's skin type and brow style. Full results can be seen 4–6 weeks.
Do I need a touch-up?
Touchups are optional for our clients as our goal is always to get the best results with the least amount of sessions. For clients who wish to get a bit more color or who heal a bit softer, a perfecting session at 4-6 weeks is recommended.
How much does microblading, nano or combination brows cost?
Our microblading and nano appointments start at $650. While pricing is an important deciding factor for many, choosing the right artist matters even more. Microblading and nano brows are semi-permanent procedures performed on the face. Whether you book with us or another artist, we strongly encourage clients to carefully review each artist’s portfolio before making a decision. Look beyond fresh, newly completed brows and be sure to examine long-term healed results, as this shows how the work truly ages in the skin. While techniques and knowledge can be taught, every artist’s style, touch, and approach is unique, and results can vary from person to person.
LASH LIFT & BROW LAMINATION
What is a lash lift?
A lash lift curls and lifts natural lashes using a gentle perm solution, providing a mascara-free lifted look.
How long does a lash lift last?
Around 6–8 weeks, depending on lash cycle and aftercare.
Can I wear mascara after a lash lift?
Yes — just avoid waterproof mascara as it can weaken the lift.
What is brow lamination?
Brow lamination restructures brow hairs to create a fuller, fluffed, lifted look lasting 6–8 weeks.
LASH EXTENSIONS
What are lash extensions?
Extensions are synthetic fibers adhered to natural lashes using medical-grade adhesive to create length, curl, and fullness.
What’s the difference between classic, hybrid & volume?

How long do lash extensions last?
Most clients return for fills every 2–3 weeks.
Will extensions damage my natural lashes?
No — when applied correctly, they do not damage natural lashes. Our CosmetiFX artists will always prioritize lash health. If you have lash damage when coming into our studio for an appointment, we will send you home with a lash growth plan and reschedule you when you are ready!
How do I care for lash extensions?
✔ Avoid water/steam for 24 hrs
✔ Clean lashes daily
✔ Avoid oils + waterproof mascara
✔ Do not rub, pull, or sleep face-down
✔ Brush with clean spoolie daily
Can I swim or exercise with extensions?
Yes — after 24 hours. Always cleanse after sweating/swimming.
LIP BLUSHING/LIP NEUTRALIZATION
What is lip blushing?
Lip blushing is cosmetic tattooing that enhances natural tone, symmetry, and definition for a soft “tinted lip balm” look.
What results can I expect?
Benefits include:

✔ Correction of cool/ashy tones
Does lip blushing make lips look bigger?
While it doesn’t physically plump, defined borders can create the appearance of more volume.
How long does lip blushing last?
About 2–3 years with an 8–12 week touch-up recommended.
What is healing like?
Healing is 5–7 days. Color appears bright initially, then softens by 30–40%. Full results at 6–8 weeks.
Who is not a candidate?
Clients with active cold sores, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or certain medical conditions. Cold sore history requires antiviral prescription.
SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION (SMP)
What is SMP?
SMP is a non-surgical procedure that deposits pigment into the scalp to replicate the look of hair follicles, creating density or a shaved effect.
Who is SMP for?
Works for:

✔ Transplant scars
✔ Crown thinning
✔ Density enhancement
How long does SMP last?
Typically 4–6 years before minor refreshes.
How many sessions are needed?
Usually 3–5 sessions, spaced 7–14 days apart.
How long is recovery?
There is no down time for SMP recovery. There is no down time or recovery period after scalp micropigmentation treatments. Redness from your session should fade 4-8 hours after your appointment. Most clients return to work the next day. You may come back for your following session after 7 days.
Does SMP hurt?
Pain varies; most describe the sensation to be quite mild
Will SMP look natural?
Yes — when done properly, it blends seamlessly with real follicles.
Can SMP work with long hair?
Yes — density SMP works on longer hair for men & women.
How much does SMP cost?
The cost of SMP depends on a variety of factors, including the type of procedure and the size of the area of the head that will need micropigmentation.
Cost ranges from $2500 - $5000 for SMP / SMP HD and $800 - $1500 for scar coverup treatments.
